-258- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # 02-11-xxxx RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL-TIME ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN IV MICHAEL McDOWALL WHEREAS, Michael McDowall was hired as a full-time Engineering Teclmician IV for the City of Ramsey and began work on May 13, 2002, subject to a six-month' probationary period; and WHEREAS, Michael McDowall successfully completed his probationary period and his perfon-nance ~vas documented by the Director of Public Works; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its November 12, 2002, meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for full-time Engineering Technician IV Michael McDowall, effective November 13, 20021 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Persom~el Committee to end the probationary period for full-time Engineering Technician IV Michael McDowaI1, effective November 13, 2002. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councitmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same! and the following abstained: and the following were abs'ent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of November 2002.
