-" PC CASE # ~ <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZE THE APPOINTMENT .OF THREE MEMBERS TO TIlE RAMSEY TOWN <br /> CENTER TASK FORCE COMMITTEE <br /> Patrick Leadens, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Bnekgronnd: <br /> <br />On October 24th, the Town Center Task Force, at their regular meeting, interviewed tl-u'ee candidates <br />to fill the vacancy on the Task Force created by the resignation on Don Kveton. <br /> <br />The vacancy for this Task Force position was advertised in the Ramsey Resident and the City website. <br />The Task Force interviewed three candidates, Mary Jo Olson, Will Thompsen, and Steve Sis. <br /> <br />The Task Force was impressed by all three of the candidates and their credentials. After extensive <br />discussion, the Task Force would like to expand the Task Force from seven members to nine members <br />and appoint all three candidates to the Town Center Task Force. <br /> <br />Town Center Task Force Recommendation: <br /> <br />Therefore, the Task Force's recommendation is to appoint Mary Jo Olson, Will Thompsen, and Steve <br />Sis to the Ramsey Town Center Task Force. <br /> <br />A representative from the Task Force will be at the Council meeting to help explain the rationale for <br />expanding the Task Force. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the .City Council adopt a resolution <br />Thompsen, and Steve Sis to the Ramsey Town Center Task Force. <br /> <br />appointing-Mary Jo Olson, Will <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City AdminiStrator <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />PC: 11/12/2002 <br /> <br />-259- <br /> <br /> <br />
