-260- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPOINTMENT OF THREE ADDITIONAL <br /> MEMBERS TO THE RAMSEY TOWN CENTER TASK FORCE COMMITTEE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 24th, the Town Center Task Force, at their regular <br />meeting, interviewed three candidates to fill the vacancy on the Task Force created by the <br />resignation on Don Kveton; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the vacancy for this Task Force position was advertised in the <br />Ramsey Resident and the City website; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Task Force interviewed three candidates, Mary Jo Olson, Will <br />Thompsen, and Steve Sis; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Task Force was impressed by all three of the candidates and <br />their credentials. After extensive discussion, the Task Force would like to expand the <br />Task Force from seven members to nine members and appoint all three candidates to the <br />Town Center Task Force. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CiTY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the appointment of Mary Jo <br />Olson, Will Thompsen, and Steve Sis to the Ramsey Town Center Task Force. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />member , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following .voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of November 2002. <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
