COMMITTEES/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Update on Sunwood Drive NW <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Staff presented the status of the Sunwood Drive NW project and requested authorization for a <br />change order to extend the Contract due to weather and delays caused by crossing the wetland <br />west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard. The change order' also authorized the expenditure of $5,760 for <br />the extension of railings along the box culvert wings to protect passing traffic utilizing the road <br />and trail. <br /> <br />A motion was made to authorize a change order for the extension of the railings near the box <br />culverts. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Parking during school events <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />A resident of the Pondvale area has expressed concern regarding the parking during school events <br />since the parking has been restricted on County Road 5 (Nowthen Boulevard).
