Public Hearin~ Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:43 p.m. Citizen Input There was none. Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Hendriksen, Anderson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. The public hearing closed at 7:44 p.m. Council Business Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:44 p.m. Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to approve introduction of an ordinance vacating these segments of City streets and preserving them as drainage and utility easements and direct the City Attorney to research and advise the Council on ultimate disposition of the land associated with the street Vacations. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Oamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Kurak, Anderson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Councilmember Zimmerman asked staff' to present information .on this project to the Public Works Committee prior to City Council discussion. COUNCIL BUSINESS Case#3: for Final Plat of Point; Case of Edina Request Approval Evergreen Development, Inc. -74- Principal Planner Trudgeon explained that Edina Development has submitted a final plat for the first phase of Evergreen Point, a 110-unit townhome development on the northwest corner of Alpine Drive and State Highway 47. The preliminary plat was approved by the City Council on May 28, 2002. The first phase will consist of 58 townhomes. The subject property is zoned Medium Density Residential wh/ch allows up to seven dwelling units per acre. The submitted final plat is the first phase of the development and consists of 58 townhouse units. The submitted final plat adheres to the approved final plat.
