-126- b) It states that the Conditional Use Permit is for expansion of the business which means more traffic, noise, and blowing sand. Presently we are forced to limit the fresh air to our manufacturing facility to days when the wind is light, and the traffic noise is Iow primarily evenings and weekends. We have found that changing of our roof top heating and cooling unit filters are needed more frequently. c) The unsightly views from the existing facility will become even more noticeable with the expansion of this business. d) We built this new facility knowing that the concrete company did exist across the street. We were promised the shielding would be consistent with the Industrial Park settings to insure the value of our propriety would stay equal to others in the Industrial Park. We ha've received no property tax breaks, credits, or compensation for allowing this business to expand at the displeasure of other conforming businesses. In closing, I would not deprive any business of the opportunity to expand and prosper, however I believe that with expansion, there should be room for improvement in order to maintain the value and appearance of the surrounding businesses without creating a injustice to those who conform. ~-~ ,~a]ter~/A & R Manufacturing Inc.
