-224- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE HIRING OF LORI L. KINGSTON FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of September 11, 2002, City Council gave authorization to hire either Lori Kingston or Patrick Leaden to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of Rhonda Heryla, Human Resource Manager; and WHEREAS, Ms. ICingston, will begin work on September 23, 2002. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to ratify the hiring of Lori Kingston for the full-time Human Resource Manager position. 2) That Ms. Kingston will be compensated at a rate of $ 61,049.00 with three weeks of vacation and be required to complete a six-month probationary period. Ms. Kingston's hiring is contingent on successful completion of background checks, employment physical, and drag/alcohol screen. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of September 2002.
