I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I The above engineering costs are based on our current hourly rates and the scope of the project as outlined in the project memorandum. We included $6,500 for soil and materials testing services. It is our understanding that the total project was estimated at $520,000 with Federal and State funding at 80 percent and City funding at 20 percent or $104,000. Based on our preliminary estimate, the project could overrun by $21,430 if all the contingencies are used. We are currently in discussion with the Anoka County Highway Department and it has not yet been determined if both right and left turn lanes will be required on Ramsey Boulevard (County Highway No. 56). We have included a preliminary opinion of cost for a fight turn lane to enter the site. Following is a proposed schedule based on a start date of August 6, 2002: TASK Submit plans and specifications to City Council to set the bid date Prepare plans and specifications and submit to reviewing and agencies for approval and permits Receive Bids Award Bids Begin construction Complete grading and construction of parking lot, trails and mm lanes if required Complete landscaping and restoration COMPLETION DATE August 19, 2002 August 23, 2002 September 20, 2002 September 24, 2002 September 30, 2002 November 8, 2002 June 1, 2003 We again wish to express our appreciation to you for this opportunity to offer our services.
