I I I I I i I I CASE # q REPORT FROM PUBLIC WORKS By: Public Works Staff Background: The Public Works Committee met on July 16, 2002 and discussed the following five cases: Case # 4 Presentation of Feasibility Studies for the three project south of City Hall Background: A draft Feasibility Study was presented for each of the following three projects: Improvement Project 02-20 Improvement Project 02-21 Improvement Project 02-22 South of City Hall Campus Sewer Water and Street Construction 151st, 152aa and Fluorine Street NW Sewer Water and Street Construction Pondvale Sewer Water and Street Construction There was much discussion about the aspects of the projects as it related-to assessments and interest of the residents to immediately hook-up to City services to help defray the costs. Staff was directed to not send out the feasibility studies to the residents until consensus of the Council was reached regarding the financing of these projects. After much discussion the item was tabled to a future Public Works Committee meeting. Council Action: None required. Case #2 Discussion of Emergency Vehicle Access on Argon Street Background: The Committee received testimony from Mallard Ponds who indicated their desire to construct a gate across the private road at the end of Argon Street. The Committee acknowledged the homeowners associations right to control their property and recommended that the association be allowed to construct the gate, contingent upon its meeting the requirements of emergency access.
