Mayor Ramsey aye <br />Motion carried. <br />7.07: Consider Authorization of a Request for Proposals (RFP) to Complete Final Plans <br />and Specifications for improvement Project #06 -20; the Signalization of Armstrong <br />Boulevard and Bunker Lake Boulevard <br />City Engineer Himmer reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Look stated he was concerned about paying the money and walking away with <br />an uncompleted job and producing an RFP from the City's standpoint was not inexpensive He <br />recommended paying the money and keeping the lines of communications open with them with <br />respect to the next level. <br />City Engineer Himmer stated the intent was to not come back to Council to request additional <br />money to continue on with the service. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to approve the <br />preparation and distribution of an RFP for engineering services to complete the final plans and <br />specifications for Improvement Project #06 -20, and incorporate any improvements that come <br />about as part of the on -going feasibility study for the Legacy Christian Academy. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: Councilmember Look. <br />7.08: Consider Ordering Improvement Project #10 -25, Bituminous Paving of Chameleon <br />Street in the Shawn Acres Subdivision <br />City Engineer Himmer reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Wise expressed concern if the property was to be sold next year in the future <br />and the lot was split, that would be another taxable entity that had not paid its fair share. <br />Motion by Councilmember McGlone, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to adopt Resolution <br />10 -10 -245 ordering Improvement Project 10 -25 by directing the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for this project, and to modify the assessment role by assessing one share per <br />property PIN. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councihnembers Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, Look, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br />City Council / October 26, 2010 <br />Page 7 of 9 <br />
