-144- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECLASSIFYING THE CRIME PREVENTION <br /> SPECIALIST POSITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the Crime Prevention Specialist job description <br />and assigned job points to the skills, tasks, and responsibilities detailed in the job <br />description; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based upon those job points and comparable wages for this <br />position, staff has determined that the position warrants a higher pay classification. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY cOuNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />t) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to reclassify the position of Crime Prevention Specialist to a <br />salary of $36,334 minimum/S45,418 maximum. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That employee who currently occupies the Crime Prevention Specialist position, <br />Chandra Kreyer, based upon the recommendation of the Personnel Committee, be <br />placed at Step 1 of the new pay classification, retroactive to 01/01/02. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 9th day of July, 2002. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
