-144- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION RECLASSIFYING THE CRIME PREVENTION SPECIALIST POSITION WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the Crime Prevention Specialist job description and assigned job points to the skills, tasks, and responsibilities detailed in the job description; and WHEREAS, based upon those job points and comparable wages for this position, staff has determined that the position warrants a higher pay classification. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY cOuNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: t) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to reclassify the position of Crime Prevention Specialist to a salary of $36,334 minimum/S45,418 maximum. 2) That employee who currently occupies the Crime Prevention Specialist position, Chandra Kreyer, based upon the recommendation of the Personnel Committee, be placed at Step 1 of the new pay classification, retroactive to 01/01/02. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of July, 2002.
