meeting the Council made a motion that was approved to prohibit the removal of any trees on the <br />peninsula until a tree preservation ordinance was in place. She stated they met with the <br />developer at the site today to review the extent of their grading. She stated to restrict the grading <br />limits to the road fight-of-way is not practical, they have to go beyond the road right-of-way to <br />create the slopes and back fill for behind the road. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski showed a copy of the site plan to the Council and where the center of <br />the cul-de-sac would be. He stated those kind of things paint you into a corner <br />where you do not have a'choice but to raise the grade and cut down the trees diminishes the <br />quality of life in Ramsey.
