2) Town Center Task Force <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman recommended that a Town Center Task Force be created that would <br />include residents, local business interests, as well as members from EDA, and the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson inquired as to what the main objective would be for the group. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman suggested that the Task Force could research other similar projects <br />that are currently being constructed in other communities as well as assist in creating design <br />standards for the Town Center. Staff would prefer that the Town Center project not be staff <br />driven. <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />with some answers. <br /> <br />if staff envisioned a finite timeline for them to come back <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />felt a timeline would be a good idea. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak ' <br />Committee were selected. <br /> <br />members for the Comprehensive Plan Focus <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec explained that names <br />then the Mayor made the <br /> <br />consideration at a Council meeting and <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman felt that the <br />between homeowners and business interests in <br /> <br />be made up of an equal balance <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired as to how <br />what the goals would be, the timelines, and what authority <br /> <br />Force would involve and <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman noted that Task ForCe Would only <br /> <br />g body. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired as to whom would be involved <br />are making progress. <br /> <br />Task Force to ensure that they <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that the City could assign a consultant to work with the <br />group, but he would assume that direction would come from staff. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen felt it was more important to focus on what the Council would like <br />the Task Force to accomplish.
