Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-02- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR 2002 COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a request for proposal from Anoka County for <br />for proposals for the Community Development Block Grant Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 8, 2002, the Ramsey City Council authorized City Staff to <br />submit a proposal to Anoka County in the amount of $270,000.00 for acquisition of property to <br />eliminate blight; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CDBG funds would be used towards the acquisition of Lot I, Block 2, <br />Gateway North Industrial Park 2 (14050 Azurite St. N.W.) and Lot 2, Block 2, Gateway North <br />Industrial Park 2 (14021 Basalt St. N.W.), for future redevelopment. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />i.
