Councilmember Hendriksen stated that what he was asking is that if the Central Rural Reserve Area language is not accepted by the Met Council then the adoption of the Plan would not be binding. Councilmember Kurak replied that that is what her motion was. She wanted the adoption of the Comprehensive Plan to be contingent upon the Central Rural Reserve Area language being included in the Plan. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that once the Comprehensive Plan has been voted on there is no assurance that they will get the other changes they would like to see. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, and Anderson. Voting No: Councilmembers Hendriksen and Zimmerman. City Attorney Goodrich replied that he would have that deciglon by January 4, 2002. Councilmember Hendriksen inquired as to when the Ramsey Resident would be mailed with the proposed land use changes. City Administrator Norman replied some time after January 4, 2002. Councitmember Hendriksen inquired if the land use map would be changed, if appropriate, prior to the Ramsey Resident being sent out. City Administrator Norman replied that he was unable to answer that, but he did not think that staff would have the ability to reprint the map.
