Councilmember Hendriksen stated that what he was asking is that if the Central <br />Rural Reserve Area language is not accepted by the Met Council then the adoption of the Plan <br />would not be binding. Councilmember Kurak replied that that is what her motion was. She <br />wanted the adoption of the Comprehensive Plan to be contingent upon the Central Rural Reserve <br />Area language being included in the Plan. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that once the <br />Comprehensive Plan has been voted on there is no assurance that they will get the other changes <br />they would like to see. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, and Anderson.
