o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />I1. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to construct a 175-foot monopole telecommunication <br />tower with a fenced in 50' x 50' equipment area that will contain a 12' x 20' equipment <br />shelter. <br /> <br />That City Code establishes a setback for towers and related equipment buildings in <br />accordance with the established setbacks for the underlying zoning .district, which in this <br />case is 35 feet rear yard and 20 feet side yard. <br /> <br />That the proposed location for the Tower and equipment building on the site plan dated <br />January 4, 2001 meets the B W Business Warehouse setback standards. <br /> <br />That City Code requires ground mounted equipment to be screened from view by suitable <br />vegetation, except where a design of non-vegetative screening better reflects and <br />complements the character of the surrounding neighborhood, as determined by City <br />Council <br /> <br />That the tower and equipment building are proposed to be screened by the landscaping <br />plan dated December 5,2001 and a six-foot chain link fence. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has submitted supporting documents to the application consisting of a <br />1-page letter describing the proposal, justification for the proposed site dated November <br />16, 2000, and three Propagation Maps dated November 15, 2000. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the tower will not cause any interference to any other <br />broadcast systems or encroach upon the existing telephone easement on the Subject <br />Property. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that there will be no personnel stationed at the site and the <br />base of the tower will be encompassed by a security fence to prevent unauthorized entry. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the e,,dsting prepared gravel access to the Subject <br />Property will be extended to the east and to the north and that no parking will be required <br />because site visits will be infrequent and of limited duration. <br /> <br />That City Code states that no new tower shall be approved unless the Ci~ Council finds <br />that the equipment planned for the proposed tower cannot be accommodated on an <br />existing or approved tower or building within a ½ mile radius of the proposed tower for <br />various reasons including insufficient height to functional reasonably. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that there are no e,,dsting buildings or structures in the ½ <br />mile search area of a sufficient height to accommodate the proposed equipment and <br />provide seamless coverage. <br /> <br />That the completion of the water tower, currently under construction, will provide the <br />opportunity for an additional cellular wireless antenna site in close proxLmity to the <br />applicants proposed location. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-01- <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />-~59- <br /> <br /> <br />
