Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL-TIME <br /> PATROL OFFICER JEFF KATERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, JeffKaters was hired as a full-time Patrol Officer for the City of <br />Ramsey and began work on March 29, 2000, subject to a one-year probationary period; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff Katers successfully completed his probationary period and his <br />performance was documented by the Police Chief and Sergeant Robert Kuhn; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its April 10, 2001, meeting agreed <br />with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for full-time Patrol Officer, <br />effective March 29, 2001. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full-time Patrol Officer <br />JeffKaters effective March 29, 2001. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councitmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the l0th day of April 2001. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />-222- <br /> <br /> <br />
