John Stroman, 1456 Krypton Street, Ramsey, stated that he moved to Ramsey this year for the <br />trees and wetlands. With a lack of a buffer between the houses and wetlands they will have a <br />Keen smelly mess because of the fertilizers that drain into them. He stated that he hoped that <br />they could leave as many trees as possible and require a buffer zone between the development <br />and the wetlands. <br /> <br />Jim Norman, 14451 Potassium Street, Ramsey, stated that he lives across ffom:~ Peninsula and <br />mn the trails everyday. He stated that he in support of the proposed development and felt that <br />they have done a good job at putting together a quality development. <br /> <br />Hillary Gonza, 5741 t45th Court, Ramsey, expressed concern over the lack of the'g~een space <br />along the peninsula. She stated that currently they see a woo&ct,area with wildlife::"~4f they <br />remove· the trees they will see the dump. She explained that'-they: moved into Ramsey be~/~dse of <br />the surroundings in the areas and they were told that they:c05id not build on the site acros}:£0rm <br />their property. She inquired if there would be a size.limit placed, pn ,the house and if not she <br />would recommend splitting the lot. She also inquired:: if the' CitY wilt be requiring that <br />homeowners put in a lawn, because there are current res{dents:that have lived in the City for <br />three years and have done nothing with theiz yards. She also did:nOt agree that the development <br />will have minimal traffic impact on the area.. He explained that his concern with the <br /> development has to do wi'th a~n area ~that should n~t:'.be touched. He also inquired as to <br /> how much run-off is going to be lost into the pond because of the drainage ponds that will be <br /> constructed. He expressed concern that the water level will drop in the existing wetlands. The <br /> other main concern he had with the development was the increase in traffic.
