-456- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PART-TIME COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER WHEREAS, Carey Schiferli was hired as a part-time Community Service Officer for the City of Ramsey and began work on February 26, 2001, subject to a six-month probationary period; and WHEREAS, Carey Schiferli successfully completed his probationary period and his performance was documented by the Police Chief and Sergeant Way; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its August 28, 2001,' meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for the part-time Community Service Officer, effective August 26, 2001. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for part-time Community Service Officer Carey Schiferli effective August 26, 2001. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of August 2001.
