-338- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL-TIME FIRE CODE ENFORCEMENT/BUILDING INSPECTOR JERRY STREICH WHEREAS, Jerry Streich was hired as a full-time Fire Code Enforcement/Building Inspector for the City of Ramsey and began work on March 19, 2001, subject to a six-month probationary period; and WHEREAS, Jen'y Streich successfully completed his probationary period and his performance was documented by the Fire Chief and Director of Community Development; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its September 25, 2001, meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for full-time Fire Code Enforcement/Building Inspector, effective September 19, 2001. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full-time Fire Code Enforcement/Building Inspector effective September I9, 2001. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th day of September 2001.
