-30- Mr. Peterson brought up an issue of a lot on the east that is heavily wooded. Virtually all those trees would be gone if they cut their way through for development. He suggested if the road to the north was between lots i and 2, it would be less destructive. He stated it would be best to go through the land that is owned by the people in Arizona. Debra Landwehr, 5821 158~' Avenue, Ramsey, questioned the plans for ween space. Cha/rPerson Nixt stated: that as 10ng as. the legal descriptions are accurate, the only issue under discussion is the zoning ehange. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Reeve, Kociscak, and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and Sweet. Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Kociscak, to recommend that City Council approve the request for rezoning from Jacob and Therese Barthold and Oakwood Land Development, contingent on clarification of legal description and property size in the Findings of Fact and further contingent upon an approved Comprehensive Plan amendment to include the subject property in the MUSA.
