STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> METRO DIVISION <br />Mn/DOT Agreement No. 79780-P <br />S.P. 0206-50 and SAP 199-010-03 <br /> <br />The State of Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation, and <br />The City of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />Re:City cost construction engineering and inspection by the State <br />on various city/county streets near TH 47 in the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Amount Encumbered <br />(none) <br /> <br />Estimated Amount <br /> Receivable <br /> . $60,800.¢9 . <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the State of Minnesota, through its Commissioner <br />of Transportation (AState-), and the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, acting by and through its City Council <br />(ACity-~). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is about to perform roadway; construction upon various streets near TH 47 within the <br />Ramsey City limits in accordance with City-prepared plans, specifications, and special provisions designated by <br />the City as Federal-aid Project No. 199-010-03 and the State as SP 0206-50, (AConstruction"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State will be performing construction engineering and inspection related to the portion of SP <br />0206-50 which is under the jurisdiction of State TH 47 at no cost to the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has requested that the State perform the construction engineering and inspection in <br />connection with the remaining work associated with SP 0206-50 outside the transportation elements associated <br />with the jurisdiction of State TH 47, and the State is willing to provide such service provided the State is <br />reasonably compensated for such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has expressed its willingness to pay the State as hereinafter set forth for the State <br />performed construction engineering and inspection; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 174.02, subdivision 6, the Commissioner'ofTransportation <br />may enter into agreements with other governmental or non-governmental entities for research and <br />experimentation; for sharing facilities, equipment, staff, data, or other means of providing transportation related <br />services; or for other cooperative programs that provide efficiencies in providing governmental services or that <br />further develop innovation in transportation for the benefit of the citizens of Minnesota; and <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I' <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br /> <br />
