I <br />I <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF MARKETING AGREEMENT <br />WITH ADVANCED RESOURCES <br /> By: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Michael J. Mulrooney of Advance Resources for Development, Inc. subcontracted with the City <br />through a marketing agreement the City made with Anoka Electric Cooperative (AEC) in August <br />1996. Mr. Mulrooney has performed marketing services for the City for AEC Energy Park, as <br />well as Business Park 95 industrial park and other industrial and commercial development <br />proposals. With the termination of the marketing development agreement with AEC (d/b/a/ <br />Connexus Energy), staff recommends entering into a direct contractual relationship with <br />Advance Resources rather than continuing to operate through Connexus Energy as the main <br />contractor. <br /> <br />A draft development agreement is included with this case for Council review. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to execute marketing development agreement with Michael J.
