Jockisch, 5388 141st Avenue NW, Ramsey <br /> Letter signed "Ramsey Resident" <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kociscak, seconded by Commissioner Wivoda, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Kociscak, Wivoda, <br />Dempsey, and Johnson. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Jensen and Nixt. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:53 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at <br />7:53 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson requested that an explanation be given to the residents regarding the <br />Comprehensive Plan and the process that was used in implementing the plan. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik reviewed the Comprehensive Plan process. She <br />explained that in the proposed Comprehensive Plan, the subject property is proposed to be <br />developed with high density residential rather than commercial uses. <br /> <br />Stacey Ellingson, 5383 141*t Avenue NW, Ramsey, stated that the letter regarding the public <br />hearing was the first letter she has ever received regarding this piece of property. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik replied that a letter was sent out to the entire <br />community inviting them to participate in the Comprehensive Plan process. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson questioned how many people present were regarding the issue of Mallard <br />Ponds.
