Councilmcmber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF SEAN SULLIVAN TO FINANCE TIF SPECIALIST WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the hiring of a Finance TIF Specialist; and WHEREAS, nine applications were received and five candidates were interviewed by a panel on April 12, 2000; and WHEREAS, Scan Sullivan was the panel's first choice and met with the Finance Officer and City Administrator on April 17, 2000. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to hire Sean Sullivan for the full time Finance TIF Specialist position effective April 26, 2000. 2) That in his new position as a Finance TIF Specialist, Mr. Sullivan.will be compensated at an annual rate of $37,315 with two weeks of vacation and be required to complete a.six month probationary period. That Mr. Sullivan will be required to exhibit demonstrable progress in acquiring his four year degree.
