I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF JEFF KATERS TO FULL- <br /> TIME PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Christopher McClish resigned fi:om his position as a Patrol Officer <br />with the City of Ramsey effective January 4, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the Council approved replacement of the Patrol Officer position on <br />January 11, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff conducted a hiring process and a panel interviewed four <br />candidates on March 8, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, Jeffrey Katers was the panel's first choice. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to hire Jeffrey Katers as a full-time Patrol Officer. <br /> <br />2) That in his new position as a full time patrol officer, Mr. Katers will be <br /> compensated at an annual rate of $33,688 with two weeks of vacation and be <br /> required to complete a one year probationary period. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 23rd day of May 2000. <br /> <br /> <br />
