Anderson <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Human Resources Manger R_honda Heryla <br />Assistant City Administrator Kim Moore-Sykes <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 6:05 <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Consider Ending the Probationary Period for the Human Resources <br />Manager <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Moore-Sykes stated that Rhonda Heryla assumed the position of the <br />Human Resources Manger on February 28, 2000. This position requires the completion Of a six- <br />month probationary period, which Ms. Heryla completed on August 28, 2000. A written <br />performance appraisal was prepared and a meeting with Ms. Heryla to discuss her performance <br />was scheduled with the Assistant City Administrator and the City Administrator. The result of <br />the meeting was that Ms. Heryla has satisfactorily performed the duties of her position. Based on <br />the satisfactory six-month appraisal, staff recommended that Rhonda Heryla, the Human <br />Resources Manger, be retained as a regular full-time employee. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee/September 13, 2000 <br /> Page 1 of 7 <br /> <br />-7- <br /> <br /> <br />
