-330- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL-TIME <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR SYLVIA FROLIK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cindy Sherman resigned from her position as Community <br />Development Director effective October 22, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sylvia Frolik was appointed as Interim Connnunity Development <br />Director effective October 27, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MS. Frolik was appointed Community Development Director <br />effective January 12, 2000, subject to a one-year probationary period beginning with her <br />October start date; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Frolik successfully completed her probationary period and her <br />performance was documented by the City Administrator; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its December 12, 2000 meeting agreed <br />with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for full-time Community <br />Development Director, effective October 27, 2000. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Persom~el Committee to end the probationary period for full-time Community <br />Development Director Sylvia Frolik effective October 27, 2000. <br /> <br />The n-totion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and.upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereofi- <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of December, 2000. <br /> <br /> <br />
