Municipalities amend their comprehensive plans for various <br />reasons including: <br />• Changes resulting from interim planning activities such as <br />master plans, redevelopment plans or annexation <br />• A need to change a land use designation to allow a proposed <br />development <br />• Routine update of a public facilities element, such as a parks <br />plan <br />• A text amendment to revise a land use category, policy or <br />other description <br />• A routine update to incorporate new information such as <br />census figures <br />June 2008 1 -9 <br />
