It is possible the Department could put a sticker on the current sign with the correct numbers. MISCELLANEOUS ISSUES · The computer stand and cardboard file cabinet are no longer useful. If anyone has a need for either, they may have them. · With funds available for site improvements, it would be a good time to look into options to automate the rolling gate. Possibilities include use of a remitter or electric eye. The bike sale will be incorporated into the Pet Clinic/Recycle Day. · Grant gave an OSHA update. When an inspector comes he/she should sit until someone is available to go around with him/her. This person could make corrections (if feasible) while going around with the inspector. · Ask for proper identification. · The district office should be called to verify the inspector is authorized to be there. · Give him/her only the documents asked for. · Make the inspector wear safety glasses if it is required. · Do not kid around with the inspector. · The inspector will tell you why he/she is there, but not give a report. The inspector is allowed to take pictures. If pictures are taken someone should take the same pictures for reference. However, pictures should not be taken if the inspector does not take pictures. Grant handed out and reviewed the OSHA requirements for extension cords. Some included; they can not be used on a permanent basis, cannot be two pronged and they have to be grounded.
