I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />do <br /> <br />Said licensee shall obtain and keep in full force and effect proper <br />insurance coverage against any liability for injury sustained by any <br />persons operating said licensed activities, as required under..the provision <br />of the Workers' Compensation Act of the State. <br /> <br />Said licensee shall submit to the City Clerk satisfactory certificates of <br />insurance for the coverage required herein. <br /> <br /> Subd.8. Indemnification. The license shall indemnify, defend and hold <br />harmless the City from any claims and any liability in whatsoever manner arising, which <br />may be brought against the Municipality, as the result of the operation of the carnival. <br /> <br /> Subd.9. Amusement Rides Prohibited. No amusement ride shall be used <br />in connection with or as a part of any carnival and no person shall operate or cause to be <br />operated any such amusement ride in connection with any carnival or at any place in the <br />City unless specific approval has been granted by the City Council therefore. <br /> <br /> Subd.10. Games of Chance; Indecency. No person shall operate or cause <br />to be operated any gambling device, lottery, number or paddle wheel, number board, <br />punch board, or other game of chance, nor shall any person conduct or make lewd, <br />lascivious or indecent exhibitions, show or attraction, or make cause to be made any <br />indecent exposure of the person or suggest lewdness or immorality in any way what so <br />ever in connection with a carnival. <br /> <br /> Subd. ll. Street Carnivals Prohibited. No license shall be granted to any <br />person to conduct or operate a carnival on any street, highway, or other public right-of- <br />way in the City without specific approval of the Council, and no person shall conduct or <br />operate a carnival on any street, highway, or other public right-of-way in the City unless <br />a license has been granted therefore by the City Council. <br /> <br />go <br /> <br />Prior to the issuance of a license where in a street carnival is permitted by <br />Council, the City shall be provided with a surety bond, cash escrow, <br />certification of deposit, security, or other cash deposit in an amount to be <br />determined by the City of Ramsey and in a form satisfactory to the City <br />Council. <br />The City shall hold the said security until an inspection of the right-of-way <br />subsequent to the termination of the carnival has been conducted by the <br />City Engineer (?) or designee, to determine the extent of any right-of-way <br />damage created by the carnival, if any. <br />If the right-of-way has been damaged by the carnival activities, the said <br />security shall be used or be liable for repair of the damages to the right-of- <br />way which damages are directly or indirectly the result of the referred <br />carnival activities. <br /> <br /> <br />
