Timing <br />Proposed Starting Date <br />Mr. Weber would be available to begin work immediately on either land <br />development application reviews and/or amendments to the Zoning Code. <br />Time Line for Zoning Code Amendments <br />Amendments to the Zoning Code could be undertaken either one at a time in <br />sequence or several simultaneously with overlapping time frames. Some <br />amendments are likely to take longer than others. It is expected that all of <br />these amendments could be initiated and completed within a six month <br />window: <br />• Items to comply with the 2030 Comprehensive Plan <br />• Residential architectural standards <br />• Addition of the Office Park zoning district <br />• Addition of a Public Park zoning district. <br />Other amendments could take longer, such as the addition of a form -based <br />regulatory element or revisions to the sign ordinance. <br />Bill Weber fully expects to have the time available to proceed quickly on <br />any or all Code amendments. The greatest schedule factor will probably be <br />the length of time allotted for public review. <br />A time line for a single ordinance amendment might look like this: <br />Process Step Week Number <br />Meet with City staff 1 <br />Prepare draft amendment wording 1 — 3 <br />Meet with City staff 4 - 5 <br />Meet with affected stakeholders (optional) 5 — 7 <br />Continue to refine the wording 5 — 8 <br />Conduct public hearings 9 - 14 <br />Proposal to Provide City of Ramsey Planning Services 6-1 <br />
