Timing <br />Standard Schedule for Reviewing Land Use Applications <br />A typical time line for reviewing a land development application is <br />presented below. Such review schedules are sometimes adjusted by <br />mutual agreement between the City and the applicant. <br />Process Step Week Number <br />Meet with prospective applicant 1 <br />Inspect the development site 1 <br />Receive a fully completed application 2 (varies) <br />Determine that the application is complete. 2 <br />Notify the applicant of the 60-day deadline 2 <br />(zoning applications) or the 120-day <br />deadline (plat applications) <br />Discuss the application with City staff and 2 — 4 <br />the applicant <br />Prepare a draft review memo 3 — 4 <br />Review the draft memo with City staff and 3 — 4 <br />the applicant <br />Request a time extension if necessary 5 — 8 <br />Attend public review meetings with the 5 — 9 <br />Planning Commission, Parks Commission <br />and City Council <br />Help prepare a written agreement with the 9+ <br />applicant <br />6-2 Proposal to Provide City of Ramsey Planning Services <br />
