Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #12: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />1) Site Selection of Fire Station #2 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />ratify the action of the Finance Committee, which is as follows: Authorize the <br />acquisition of the property PIN 20-32-25-44-0001 for the purposes of construction of a <br />second fire station. The appraisal should be included for this property and that staff <br />should negotiate three to 10 acres. Staff was directed to come back with the price of the <br />appraisal and the same appraiser who did the other three sites is the one that should be <br />used. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman <br />and Anderson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Administrative Forfeiture of 1998 Ford Pickup <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to <br />adopt Resolution #99-05-091 authorizing staff to obtain a forfeited 1998 Ford pickup by <br />paying the lien amount of approximately $14,000 and transferring that amount from the <br />1999 budget of Public Works to the 1999 budget of Fire to acquire said vehicle. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Revenue Projection Analysis Study <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />authorize the implementation of a fiscal impact study be performed by Springsted Public <br />Finance Advisors for a not-to-exceed cost of $10,340. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Zimmerman <br />and Hendriksen. <br /> <br />4) Feasibility Study for a Nine-Hole Golf Course as Part of <br /> Commercial/Industrial Development at the Waste Management Site <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the Finance Committee recommended that the <br />City Council approve a feasibility study for the integration of a golf course with the <br />proposed commercial/industrial development project. <br /> <br />City Council/May 11, 1999 <br />Page 15 of 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
