Cancellations should be made three (3) working days in advance of the scheduled date. The reservation will be confirmed after the signed use permit and appropriate deposit is received, .Only equipment requested and approved on the permit will be issued for use by a group. Perm/ts are issued for the dates, hours and area specified. Equipment or mater/als brought in by ~oups should be brought in the day the faciti .ty is to be used and removed the same day or night. Use permits may not be assi_maed, transfe.rr_ ed or sub-let to anyone other than the person/organization making the application. EIe.ctr/cal use is I/mil;ed to the number of receptacles in the room. No materials will be allowed to be taped on the walls or windows, At r~o time should any signs, posters, pictures, clocks, etc, be remoYed from facili .ty walls Paper/metallic confe.tti or rice may not be used in the buildi_ng or on the ~ounds, .The individuaI whose name appears on the permit wilI be considered responsible for the organization's conduct and any and all damages while using the facilities. Disorderly conduct of participants is prohibited, The individual listed on the permit is also responsible for informing his/her ~oup of any special regulations, All users must comply with alt Ci.ty ordinances. Minnesota State Statutes. and Federal laws. Governmental functions normally are scheduled at a minimum of three days in advance. However, this requirement may be waived if the need is great or an emergency exists. Governmental functions may supercede any other use with or without reservations if (1) three days notice is given; and (2) there is no other practical alternative. An attempt should be made to find other alternatives and give three days notice whenever possible. PERMIT FOR USE A permik.wilI be denied if the City facility has been previously resery, ed or if the requested use is for an activity contrary, to Ci.ty ordinance. The Ci.ty reserves the right to .deny or cancel a permit if the regulations are violated A permit may be canceled by the Ci .ty up to the time of use when a state of emerge_ncy is declared, or unsafe environmental conditions are present, or utility services are interrupted, In these circumstances, the City assumes NO responsibili .ty for any .disruption the cancellation may cause.
