The <br />Committee felt that appraisals of the properties should be made prior to considering the <br />land deal. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />direct staff to obtain appraisals of the lands proposed to be traded. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman <br />and Anderson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />#5: <br /> <br />Consider Initiating the Construction of Sunwood Drive from C.R. #57 to <br />C.R, #116 <br /> <br />Mr. Kapler explained that the CIP anticipates the construction of Sunwood Drive for C.R. <br />#57 to C.R. #116 in the year 2000. This project has two issues that will require lead-time <br />if construction is to occur next year. These issues involve wetland and landfill <br />groundwater covering. The Committee directed that a Request for Proposals (RFP) for <br />the design of the road be prepared which includes these two environmental issues in the <br />scope of the work. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zi~nmerman and seconded by Mayor Gamec to direct staff to <br />prepare an RFP for professional services, which include the environmental elements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Anderson <br />and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #16: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />#1: Identification of Budge for Proposed Personnel Expenses <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman reported that the Personnel Committee discussed <br />reclassifying the temporary status Administrative Intern position to regular, full-time <br />status Administrative Assistant, reclassifying the temporary administrative receptionist <br />position hired to assist with telephones and light typing, to regular part-time status (20 <br />hours per week), reclassifying the temporary Police Department Transcriptionist to <br />regular part-time status Public Safety Aide and purchasing minute taking services from <br />Timesavers to free up some of the Deputy Clerk.
