Motion by Councihnember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to direct staff to obtain appraisals of the lands proposed to be traded. Motion carried. Voting No: None. #5: Consider Initiating the Construction of Sunwood Drive from C.R. #57 to C.R, #116 Mr. Kapler explained that the CIP anticipates the construction of Sunwood Drive for C.R. #57 to C.R. #116 in the year 2000. This project has two issues that will require lead-time if construction is to occur next year. These issues involve wetland and landfill groundwater covering. The Committee directed that a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the design of the road be prepared which includes these two environmental issues in the scope of the work. Motion by Councilmember Zi~nmerman and seconded by Mayor Gamec to direct staff to prepare an RFP for professional services, which include the environmental elements. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Anderson and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Case #16: Report from Personnel Committee #1: Identification of Budge for Proposed Personnel Expenses City Administrator Norman reported that the Personnel Committee discussed reclassifying the temporary status Administrative Intern position to regular, full-time status Administrative Assistant, reclassifying the temporary administrative receptionist position hired to assist with telephones and light typing, to regular part-time status (20 hours per week), reclassifying the temporary Police Department Transcriptionist to regular part-time status Public Safety Aide and purchasing minute taking services from Timesavers to free up some of the Deputy Clerk. Based on Council work session discussion, the Committee recommended authorizing an increase in personnel expenses in the amount of $21,221.52. Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to authorize an increase in personnel expenses in the amount of $21,221.52, whereas, such funding will be provided by the General Fund line item "Other Contracted Services," or a more appropriately deemed source, with budget amendments, later this fiscal year.
