RAMSEY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> BODY SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Roll-out Tray(s) <br />ROLL-OUT TRAY(S) <br /> <br />All roll out trays shall be fabricated of .250 aluminum with four side flanges, corner welded for <br />maximum strength furnished and installed on fully adjustable cadmium plated, ball bearing roller <br />slides. There shall be a pneumatic shock mounted to the bottom of the roll-out tray to hold the <br />tray in the extended or retracted positions. 2 rollout trays on the front full height compartment on <br />the drivers side. <br /> <br />Air Bottle Rack <br />FREE-STANDING AIR BOTTLE RACK <br /> <br />There shall be one (1) free standing aluminum air bottle rack furnished to hold nine (9) air <br />bottles. The free standing rack shall have rubber padding to protect the air bottles. The rack <br />shall be easily removable and have grab handles on each side for lifting. The rack shall be <br />capable of being located in any one of the lower compartments with a minimum opening width <br />of 29". there shall be a bracket furnished in the compartment to hold the bottle rack in position. <br /> <br />Treadbrite Overlays <br />OVERLAY DETAILS <br /> <br />Treadplate shall be aluminum and then shall be coated with 3M sealant on back sides to protect <br />and to put an insulating barrier between dissimilar metals on the underside. To assist in <br />corrosion resistance, the overlay aluminum shall be adhered to the body where applicable. If <br />fasteners are required, the overlay aluminum shall be bolted on with specially coated stainless <br />steel fasteners and locking nuts. Overlay aluminum shall be installed in the following areas: <br /> <br />Upper intermediate step. <br /> <br />Front compartment vertical areas o both sides, and wrap around each side. <br /> <br />All Rear inside faces and vertical areas below and above rear intermediate step. <br /> <br />Left side catwalk and extending down over side 2" to the compartment doors and then forming a <br />drip rail above. <br /> <br />Right side catwalk and extending down over side 2" to compartment doors and then forming a <br />drip rail above doors. <br /> <br />Page 22 of 33 <br /> <br /> <br />
