Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he would like to have the ability to attend any Committee <br />meeting, and requested that Staff advertise the meetings so that his presence would be legal. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated the open meeting law issue is a very touchy subject, because of the public <br />perception. <br /> <br />Case #14: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Award Contract for Engineering and Inspection Services for the Construction of <br />Well #5 ,and Water Tower #2 <br /> <br />Item was tabled. <br /> <br />2) Amend Park and Trail Dedication Rates <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adopt <br />Resolution #99-09-__ increasing residential cash contribution to $1,200 per unit and the trail fee <br />to $300 per unit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, Connolly, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #16: Sale of Vacant Land <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich explained that ACAP has an opportunity to move one of the houses on <br />the property and questioned if the Council would be comfortable with moving the house without <br />the completion of the purchase agreement. <br /> <br />Councihnelnber Hendriksen stated that the homes were donated to ACAP separate from the <br />purchase agreement. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich replied that it is still included in the purchase agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, that in the spirit <br />of the purchase agreement allow ACAP to move the house on the property. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mayor Gamec stated that he wants to make sure the wells are sealed and the <br />electrical and gas are taken care of.
