The overall goal of Anoka CIP will be to help people become as independent and self-sufficient
as possible. Internal and industry-based work sites such as those located in the Enterprise Park
will be accessed to develop basic work skills and behaviors and may include vocational
exploration, work experience, and/or supported employment. The development of independent
living skills will improve mobility, communication, community integration, social skill
development, money management and domestic skills.

Rise is seeking financial support from the Anoka County CDBG program because government
funding Rise receives for program service fees does not cover funding of capital equipment or
other program-related items. We are also seeking funding from Twin Cities corporations and
foundations for this program.

Proposed Budget_for CDBG Funds

CDBG funding of $62,000 is being requested from eight Cities in Anoka County. The balance of
$84,250 is being sought from local corporations and foundation.
