Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #98-04 - <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF NOMINATION OF COUNCILMEMBER NATALIE <br />HAAS STEFFEN FOR THE ASSOCIATION OF METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITIES <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Natalie Haas Steffen has served as an Anoka County Commissioner, the <br /> Commissioner of the State Human Services Department, and is currently serving as a Ramsey <br /> City Councilmember; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Councilmember Haas Steffen has served diligently and with devotion to <br /> community boards, commissions, and within community and civic organizations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Councilmember Haas Steffen has a vast understanding of the metropolitan <br />municipalities needs. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council support the nomination of Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen to <br /> the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities Board of Directors. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14th day of April, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
