ou~,,-~o ~o~u~l lo:os ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,**,,, TEL:612 421 9511 P, 009 <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich asked if an easement should be granted to the City so maintaining the <br />berm is an option. <br /> <br />John Gobematz, 17515 St. Francis Boulevard NW, stated if he removed the berm the water <br />would mn into his field which would be a disadvantage to him. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich asked ii'he would object to providing an easement to the City for the area <br />of the berm. <br /> <br />Mr. Gobematz stated it depends on how wide it is. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik stated the City a/ready has a ten foot easement. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen stated the applicant wants to pull a building permit in a timely way <br />and asked if consideration could be comingent upon the City Engineer and Mr. Gobematz <br />identifying an easement that would protect Mr. Long.field. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated this could be done and suggested it be included into the motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councflmember Haas StciTen and seconded by Councilmember Beycr to adopt <br />Resolution #98-06-126 granting final plat approval to Gobernatz 2nd Addition subject to <br />compliance with the City Staff review letter dated June 3 1998 and the recommendations of the <br />Park Commission and contingent upon the City Engineer and applicant agreeing on a proper <br />easement for the berm just discussed. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, Beahen, and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich advised he will be involved with the drafdng of the easement. <br /> <br />Case #4: Request for Site Plan Approval; Case of Holiday Recreational Ind., Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik advised that Liz Peterson of Holiday R.V. has applied for site plan <br />review to construct and operate a full service recreational vehicle center on the south side of <br />Highway #10, west of Ammrong Boulevard NW. The facility is currently leasing space from the <br />Anoka Independent Grain & Feed offices near the Ramsey/Anoka border, also on the somh side <br />ofltighway #10. Site plans are not required to be subjected to public hearings. Ms. Frolik noted <br />the access point to Riverdale Drive, outdoor paved display area, and stated it is in compliance <br />with regard to site coverage, setbacks, architectural standards, paved areas, display area and <br />customer parking, and number of parking spaces. She noted the location of the concrete curb and <br />gutter with the exception of the east property line. However, the applicant has indicated an <br />intention to expand the facility onto the adjacent lot within five years and prefers not to make an <br />investment in concrete curbing that will have to be demolished within five years to facilitate the <br />expansion. <br /> <br />City Council/June 9, 1998 <br />Page 11 of 27 <br /> <br /> <br />
