Mr. Lacey answered that this is being done to some extent but takes time and labor. He added <br /> that this may not be the best use o£the Commission's time. <br /> <br /> Acting Chair Johns stated that the Commission would soon be busy working on budgets, but can <br /> also help with the sports schedules if numbers are provided to them. <br /> <br /> Ivlr. Morris stated that traveling teams are harder to track, so he can provide numbers only for <br /> those that reside in Ramsey. <br /> <br /> Ms. Connolly asked if sports schedules could be put onto a computer-program and tracked. <br /> <br />/Mr. Lacey replied that this couldn't be done by the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Ms. Connolly stated it could be input by someone else and fed to City Hall. <br /> <br />Ivlr. Kapler replied that the City doesn't have the time to do this, either. <br /> <br />Commissioner Droegemueller agreed, and stated he could attend the next City Council meeting so <br />these issues can be discussed, <br /> <br />Ms. Connolly stated she would provide more information to the City so they would be aware of <br />which teams are playing where and at which times. She added that Blaine presently does this. <br /> <br />/vlr. Lacey the Commission would look at numbers provided, if these numbers are broken down <br />by division/sport. <br /> <br />Mr. Morris asked about Ramsey's growth plans. <br /> <br />Mr. Kapler stated Ramsey would definitely continue to grow in the future. <br /> <br />Mr. Morris stated that youth organizations need to growth along with the City. <br /> <br />Acting Chair Johns reiterated her request for numbers on all sports - both current and future <br />needs. She asked for the proiected growth of soccer, the projected field usages, and the numbers <br />of residents and non-residents involved in sports. <br /> <br />Commissioner Asfahl asked for historical data as welt, for the past two-three years. <br /> <br />Ms. Connolly asked that Mark Boos provide her with a copy of the draft C.I.P. <br /> <br />Mr. Kapler stated he would see that Mark Boos sends ttfis to Ms. Connolly. <br /> <br />/vl_r.
