Motion by Councilmember Wise, seconded by Councilmember Tossey, to approve Rushstar <br />Systems for mowing abatement and clean up abatement services. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, Tossey, Elvig, and <br />McGlone. Absent: Councilmembers Backous and Jeffrey. Voting No: None. <br />7.02: Request for Adopt Ordinance Amending Section City Code Section 30 -3 titled <br />Property Conditions Constituting a Public Nuisance AND Amending City Code <br />Section 2 -332 titled Abatement and relating to the Abatement of Grass, Weeds or <br />Noxious Growths in Excess of Eight Inches in Height. <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Wise pointed out the reason the height is being changed from 12 to 8 inches is <br />that by the time the abatement process is complete, the weeds are already at 8 inches. <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to waive the reading of and <br />adopt Ordinance #11 -06 amending Section City Code Section 30 -3 titled Property Conditions <br />constituting a public nuisance AND amending City Code Section 2 -332 title Abatement and <br />relating to the abatement of grass, weeds or noxious growths in excess of eight inches in height. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Councilmember Tossey aye <br />Councilmember Elvig aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey absent <br />Councilmember Backous absent <br />Councilmember Wise aye <br />Councilmember McGlone aye <br />Mayor Ramsey aye <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br />7.03: Consider Site Plan for Parking Lot Amendments for Ramsey Office Plaza <br />Senior Planner Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember McGlone questioned whether there is a minimum or maximum parking <br />requirement and if the City was meeting one of them. <br />Senior Planner Gladhill explained there are no minimum parking requirements at this time. The <br />City does want to be assured there is sufficient parking, and the parking requirements will be <br />considered with the developer. <br />Councilmember Wise inquired whether the discussion regarding the assurance that the access <br />would align with any to the south is documented. <br />City Council / April 26, 2011 <br />Page 4 of 7 <br />
