FACILITY USE AND RENTAL POLICY <br />MUNICIPAL CENTER / PARK CENTER <br /> <br />The purpose of this policy is to provide written guidelines in conjunction with the use and rental <br />of the Municipal Center and Park Center. This policy supersedes Resolution #88-49 adopted <br />March 22, 1988. <br /> <br />The Ramsey Municipal Center houses the administrative, police, and fire functions of the City of <br />Ramsey. The Park Center houses the Parks/Utilities Supervisor. Additionally, the Municipal <br />Center serves as the official location for the various public meetings of the City Council and <br />other governmental bodies. <br /> <br />With the Ramsey Municipal Center, the following rooms may be available for public use in <br />accordance with this policy: <br /> <br />Council Chambers * <br />Lower Level South * <br /> <br />.. Capacity: 65 persons <br />.. Capacity: 93 persons <br /> <br />* These areas may be divided to accommodate smaller groups. <br /> <br />The Park Center has available for public use in accordance with this policy, one large common <br />area that accommodates a capacity of 74 persons. <br /> <br />PRIORITY OF USE <br /> <br />The priority of use of these facilities is as follows: <br /> <br />1) Governmental Ftmctions: <br /> <br />a. Offices and City Council <br />b. Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment <br />c. All other Commissions <br />d. Sub-committees of City Council or Commissions <br />e. Administrative <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Organized Groups: <br />a. Senior Citizen groups <br /> Note: The lower level south was funded with Federal funds for senior citizens. <br /> This specific area is available to senior citizen groups with minimal reservations <br /> described in this policy. <br />b. Groups performing a public service (e.g., AA, Mediation Services, educational <br /> services) <br /> Groups whose purpose is to perform public service (e.g., Boy or Girl Scouts, RYAA) <br /> Groups who wish to use the facility for recreation or routine meetings <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
