Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Frolik/ <br />Complete <br /> <br />3/10/98 <br /> <br />CoUncil adopted Ordinance #98-04 amending Chapter <br />9.11.02, Subdivision 12 (Accessory Buildings). Jo will <br />publish the summary in the paper and it will become effective <br />April 13. <br /> <br />Frolik/ <br />Complete <br /> <br />2/24/98 <br /> <br />With regard to the CUP request from the Simpsons to operate <br />a two-family rental unit in a single family district - Council <br />directed the following: Council asked that you work with Bill <br />Goodrich on language that deals with concerns about parking, <br />outside storage, on-site septic system compliance and a <br />blacktop driveway. However, if it is felt that the inspections <br />that were done on the septic and the well in June, 1997, are <br />sufficient, Council is okay with that also. You pointed out that #7 of the proposed CLIP is <br />intended to deal with the septic, system and well issues. <br />Council asked that a time frame that's reasonable for the City <br />and the Property Owner be worked out with regard to a <br />blacktop driveway. Review the existing ordinances relating <br />to outside storage to see what language can be inserted. <br />Council was not so concerned about garages being built as the <br />driveway being blacktopped. They asked that staff work <br />closely with the Simpsons and also that it is stated in the <br />findings of fact why this situation is unique. Grain and <br />Feed Addn. contingent upon the developer entering into a <br />development agreement with the City and resolution of <br />outstanding issues raised by MnDOT and upon the City <br />Attorney further reviewing the issue 'of a storm water <br />management fee.
