Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Frolik/Pending' 6/23/98 With regard to number of dogs one can have, etc. <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen asked that the entire City be <br /> looked at - population wise, parcel size, etc. with regard to <br /> standards for the City. <br />Frolik/Pending 6/23/98 Council introduced"the ordinance to establish a moratorium <br /> on the development of certain parcels of land located in the <br /> City of Ramsey. Place on subsequent agenda for formal <br /> adoption. Councilmember Haas Steffen stopped in on <br /> Wednesday after the meeting and wondered if the Laws <br /> property should be included because of the plans for a senior <br /> housing project. Schedule ordinance for adoption on July 14. <br />Frolik/Pending 6/23/98 It was stated that the Planning Commission will be holding <br /> another public hearing with regard to the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. Council asked that you invite people to this - publish it <br /> in the Anoka Union, Ramsey Residents, etc. <br />Frolik/Pending 6/9/98 Place the planning video - The Future is Now on an upcoming <br /> Council agenda. <br />Frolik/ 6/9/98 Council tabled action on the no wake for the Rum River and <br />Complete asked that it be brought to the next Council meeting at which <br /> time they expect staff to have answers with regard to the <br /> depth of the river and whether going to the 5.2 mile marker <br /> takes care of the problem for if it is necessary to include the <br /> area from the 6.3 mile marker to the 7.2 mile marker. They <br /> also suggested that staff have conversation with the City of <br /> Andover. Staff was also directed to verify the recent <br /> legislation restricting jet skis from the Rum River. Staffwas <br /> also directed to determine how the Sheriff's Department will <br /> accomplish enforcement and whether they will be allowed to <br /> use a jet ski. <br />Frolik/ 6/9/98 Council granted final plat approval to Gobernatz 2nd <br />Complete Addition subject to compliance with the City Staff review <br /> letter dated June 3, 1998, and the recommendations of the <br /> Park Commission and contingent upon the City Engineer and <br /> applicant agreeing on a proper easement for the berm <br /> discussed at the meeting - between Gobernatz and Lonfield. <br /> Execute Development Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
