Execute Development Agreement. Council granted final plat approval to Apple Ridge 4th Addition. Execute Development Agreement. Council granted final plat approval to Apple Ridge 5th Addition and directed that the City's Public Works Department install a gate to impede traffic, except for emergency vehicles, at the intersection of 158th Avenue and Potassium Street in the Apple Ridge 5th Addition, which installation shall be at such time as said 158th Avenue is accepted for use by the City. Director of Public Workshops requested having input on the design of the gate. Execute Development Agreement but amend it by adding that the Developer shall deposit with the City, a non-refundable sum of $1,500 to defray the City's expense of installing a gate at the intersection of 158th Avenue and Potassium Street NW in the Apple Ridge 5th Subdivision. The Planning Commission directed that Staff initiate the process of amending architectural standards, suggesting research standards in cities adjacent to Ramsey and also obtaining the standards from Sedona, Arizona. I ! I I I Frolik/ Complete 6/23/98 Mr. Pritchard of Orin Thompson was present to request consideration of a street name change - the street in Apple Ridge being Junkite. He suggested maybe Jade to stick with the minerals. Council voted to have staff discuss this - make a recommendation whether or not to change street name - if recommended to do so - schedule public heating and draft an ordinance accordingly - in the event Council chooses staff's recommendation. Place recommendation on the next Council meeting and if the recommendation is in favor of the name change - then have the public hearing on the July 14, 1998 Council agenda also.
