Monthly Status Report Frolik/ 6/23/~8 With regard t'o the No Wake - Rum River - Council made the Pending following motion - To extend the no wake to the Ramsey side of the river that does not interfere with Andover from our southern City limits to approximately 149th Avenue and to direct staff to prepare an ordinance to introduce at the next Council meeting r~flecting the motion. Council also asked that staff continue to communicate with the City of Andover to establish their identified area number 4 (151st to 153rd) as a no wake zone contingent upon Andover eliminating areas 1, 2 and 3 from their no wake proposal. Frolik/ 6/23/98 Councitmember Haas Steffen came in to the City c;i'fices on Complete Wednesday, and commented that it appeared Mr. Teetzel did not know what Council was doing, etc. She suggested that a detailed letter be written to Mr. and Mrs. Teetzel explaining their CUP and the actions Council took and how their CUP could be revoked, etc. Councilmember Haas Steffen thought that maybe Attorney Goodrich should write the letter - I thought that it would be better coming from you. If you think Bill should write the letter, please let me know and I will forward a copy of this direction to him. Thanks. Frolik/Pending 6/23/98 With regard to number of dogs one can have, etc. Councilmember Haas Steffen asked that the entire City be looked at - population wise, parcel size, etc. with regard to standards for the City. Frolik/'- 6/23/98 Council introduced the ordinance to establish a moratorium Complete on the development of certain parcels of land located in the City of Ramsey. Place on subsequent agenda for formal adoption. Councilmember Haas Steffen stopped in on Wednesday after the meeting and wondered if the Laws property should be included because of the plans for a senior housing project. Schedule ordinance for adoption on July 14. Frolik/Pending 6/23/98 It'was ~'tated that the Planning commission will be holding another public hearing with regard to the Comprehensive Plan. Council asked that you invite people to this - publish it in the Anoka Union, Ramsey Residents, etc. Frolik/ 6/9/98 Place the planning video - The Future is Now on an upcoming Complete Council agenda.
