Street Projects (continued)

Business Park 95 7th Addition
Phase I

This project consists of the construction of approximately 1,200 feet of Radium Street, north of
McKinley, to service several developments anticipated for the Business Park 95 7th Addition
commercial and industrial subdivision. In addition to the street improvements, this project will
also require sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm sewer associated with the development of the
street, in addition to the removal of a portion of the cul-de-sac at the eastern terminus of
McKinley Street. The major costs associated with this include construction costs and project
overhead. The total project cost is estimated to be $296,000.

Business park 95 7th Addition
Phase II

This project will complete the development of the business Park 95 property which the City
purchased in the mid 1990's for industrial development. Either Radium Street will be extended
northward to C.R. gl 16 or the northern terminus of Radium Street from the Phase I will be
extended eastward to Unity Street. In either case, approximately 900 feet of street construction
and supporting sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm sewer utilities will be required. The major
costs associated with this project include construction costs and project overhead. The total
project cost is estimated to be $195,000.

C.R. gl 16 Extension
C.R. #56/C.R. #83

This is an Anoka County project which will extend C.R. #116 fi.om its current terminus at C.R.
#56, westward for one mile to C.R. #83. This segment of roadway will provide an important
arterial east/west link in the City. It is anticipated that this construction will divert through traffic
from existing residential neighborhoods between Ramsey Boulevard and Armstrong Boulevard.
This roadway will also provide access for the development of Section 28. The City's
involvement in the project will include the acquisition of right-of-way, and land for wetland
mitigation. The City should fund a development sketch plan for the section and place casing
pipes beneath the roadway to facilitate less expensive installation of future sewer and water
utilities. The City's cost on this project is estimated to be $84,000.

153/155 Avenue Extension
Variolite/C.R. #83

In 1991, 153rd Avenue was completed from C.R. #5 to C.R. #56; the segment between that
location and Variolite Street has been completed for some time. Also the se~nent between C.R.
#83 and Highway gl0 at the western edge of Ramsey, has existed for a number of years. What
remains to be completed is the segment between Variolite Street and C.R. #83. This will
complete an east/west collector street covering a distance of more than six miles from Roanoke
Street to Highway gl 0.
