Sanitary Sewer Projects (continued)

highway project. This project will include construction and overhead costs which are estimated
to be $13,000.

Sanitary Sewer Extension
To Outlot B, Amber Ridge

This project proposes to install approximately 1,000 feet of sanitary sewer from its current
northern terminus in the Rivers Bend 4th subdivision northward to service the Dan Law property
and Outlot B of the Amber Ridge subdivision. Both 6f these parcels are too high to be serviced
from the gravity sewer in Amber Ridge. This work should be undertaken in conjunction with the
T.H. #47 project since it would eliminate restoration costs and reduce unit price costs because of
more favorable traffic control conditions, which will be facilitated and paid by the highway
project. The cost associated with this project include construction and overhead and are
estimated to be $26,000.

Storm SeWer Projects

Storm Sewer
149th Avenue/T.H. #47
The wetland complex in the area of 149th Avenue along T.H. #47 receives drainage from the
developing area bounded by 153rd Avenue on the north, C.S.A.H. #5 on the west, and Lord of
Life Church on the south. Wetland 658W, which is located on the west side of the highway,
accepts drainage from the developing area north to 153rd AVenue and west to C.S.A.H. #5,
presently has no outlet. In addition, the wetland system on the east side of T.H. #47, which
primarily includes Wetland 659W' has an emergency overflow which does not adequately handle
the bounce on this wetland system to prevent flooding. This project will entail the construction
of approximately 2,400 feet of I5" and 18" storm pipe and will require installation in and
restoration of 149th Avenue from T.H. ~47 to Xkimo Street. This project should be installed in
conjunction with the T.H. #47 project since it will eliminate expensive boring and jacking costs.
The major costs include construction cost and project overhead. The total project cost is
estimated to be $192,000.
